Ark Academy

After many exciting heats, the Purple House pulled ahead to win the Ultimate Dodgeball Competition today! Well done to all the children for their excellent efforts!

Ark Academy raised an amazing £382.46 at the Comic Relief Bake-Off last term! Thank you to all the pupils and parents who took part in making this event such a success!

At an emotional assembly this morning, Ark children said farewell to their founding Headteacher Jacqueline Steele. Through songs and poems, the children expressed how much they will miss Ms. Steele and wished her the best of luck in her new school.

Lo magnífico! Comment magnifique! Our Year 3 and 4 children gave an entertaining and impressive performance at their assembly yesterday. Year 3 children demonstrated their command of the Spanish language, while the Year 4 class showed their exceptional abilities in the French language. Ark children understand the value of speaking foreign languages and they have truly enjoyed learning them! Please see our video gallery to watch the children in action.

Ark pupils love maths! They had a fun and challenge-filled week of activities involving all aspects of mathematics, including geometry, lengths and measures, and mental maths. The children built boats and houses, engaged in mental maths competitions, and made delicious drinks while learning about measures and quantities. DaVinci held their class assembly today, World Book Day, with rendition of The White Bear King. Please see the Image Gallery for photos. Well done, DaVinci Class!

Archimedes Class will have its class assembly on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 8:45 a.m.
