Our vision

We want Ark Academy to transform the educational opportunities and aspirations of all its pupils. We will provide the highest quality teaching, resources and support to enable them to flourish in a 21st century global community.

Ark Academy is a mixed, non-denominational, all-through academy. When fully open we will take pupils from age 3 to 18 and we have specialist status in mathematics and citizenship. We are part of the ARK Schools network and subscribe to ARK’s core principles:

We prioritise enabling all pupils to meet and exceed expected levels of achievement in English and mathematics as the basic blocks for academic success
We create small, nurturing schools with positive social norms and a strong school culture
We support outstanding and dedicated teachers who believe in their pupils’ potential

Our secondary school opens in September 2010 admitting its first year 7 pupils. We will offer places to 180 pupils with half of the places reserved for children from the Stonebridge and Harlesden areas and half from Wembley.
